2 pkg cinnamon roll dough, with icing
1/2 C milk
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp butter
2 granny smith apples, diced
1 C brown sugar, packed
ice cream, optional
Preheat oven to 375 F degrees.
Cut each cinnamon roll dough into 3 even strips. Then, cut those strips into 3 pieces, making
9 pieces total, per cinnamon roll.
Set aside the icing.
In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, and extract. Stir until smooth. Set aside.
In a medium skillet, over medium heat, combine butter, apples, and brown sugar.
Cook until sugar starts to caramelize. Remove from heat.
Place cinnamon roll dough pieces evenly in a 9x13 baking dish. Pour egg mixture on top, followed by the apples.
Drizzle icing on top.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve with ice cream, or your favorite toppings.
