12 oz. penne ziti
2 C chicken, cooked and shredded
1 25 oz. jar pasta sauce
1 1/2 C shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 C Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 C fresh basil leaves, chopped
Preheat oven to 375 F degrees.
Cook pasta al dente in a large stockpot. Drain. Return pasta to pot. Add chicken and
tomato sauce. Stir to combine until evenly coated.
Pour half the pasta into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 C mozzarella cheese,
one half the Parmesan cheese, and half of the basil.
Layer remaining pasta on top. Sprinkle evenly with the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and starts to turn golden.
Remove and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese and basil.
