8 oz. egg noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 8 oz. package cream cheese
1/4 C sour cream
1 C small curd cottage cheese
1/2 C green onion, chopped
2 Tbsp green peppers, chopped
2 Tbsp butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375 F degrees.
Cook noodles according to instructions on package. Drain, and set aside.
Brown meat and drain.
Add tomato sauce to meat and remove from heat.
In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, onions, and peppers.
Butter a casserole dish and spread 1/2 the noodles in the bottom.
Cover noodles with 1/2 the cheese mixture, then 1/2 the meat mixture.
Layer remaining noodles, then cheese mixture, and finally, meat mixture.
Pour 2 Tbsp butter over top. Press down slightly.
Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
