8 oz. fettuccine or your favorite pasta
1 Tbsp butter
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 Tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 C dry white wine or chicken broth
1 C heavy cream
1 C parmesan, grated
1/2 Tbsp Cajun seasoning, or to taste
1/4 C green onion, sliced (optional)
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Melt butter in a skillet, over medium-high heat. Place shrimp in Cajun seasoning.
Add to skillet. Cook 2-3 minutes per side. Set aside.
Add garlic to skillet. Sauté until fragrant.
Deglaze skillet with wine, add heavy cream, parmesan, and Cajun seasoning. Cook until it thickens.
Add pasta and shrimp to alfredo sauce. Serve garnished with green onions.
