1 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 C tomato sauce (homemade or store-bought, see my homemade sauce in Meals recipes)
1 C mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 C Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 C milk
1/2 C black olives, pitted, optional
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
crusty bread, sliced
Preheat oven to 400 F degrees.
Combine milk and cream cheese in a small saucepan, over medium heat. Whisk until smooth.
Mix in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and 1/2 C mozzarella. Stir and cook until melted and thickened.
Pour into an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish.
Pour tomato sauce on top.
Sprinkle remaining mozzarella over the top.
Season with basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Top with pitted olives, if using.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until bubbly.
