Serves 24, 1 square per serving
6 C chocolate-flavor crisp rice cereal
1 1/2 Tbsp margarine or I can't Believe It's Not Butter equivalent
1 1/2 Tbsp reduced-fat peanut butter
8 oz. large marshmallows
1/3 C reduced-fat semi-sweet chocolate morsel, or dark chocolate
Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Place cereal in a large bowl.
In a saucepan, combine marshmallow, margarine or butter, and peanut butter.
Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until marshmallows are melted.
Pour mixture over cereal.
Stir until well coated.
Mix in chocolate morsels.
Press the mixture into prepared pan.
Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes, or until well set.
Cut into 24 bars.
